Predoctoral researcher at the University of Oviedo, enrolled in the Doctoral Programme in Materials, and a member of the Sustainable Construction, Simulation, and Testing Research Group (GICONSIME).
Qualified as a Construction Engineer by the Universidad Austral de Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His research focuses on the development of nanomodified lightweight concretes, analysing the effect of ZnO and nano-TiO\u2082 nanoparticles on fresh-state properties, mechanical strength development, post-critical fire behaviour, and durability, with particular emphasis on resistance to accelerated carbonation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also investigates the incorporation of phase change materials (PCM) into lightweight concrete mixes, aiming to assess their hygrothermal performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His work is based on macro-scale experimental testing, oriented towards defining viable mix designs that integrate these technologies while maintaining\u2014or ideally enhancing\u2014the performance of concrete, with a strong focus on sustainability and the use of industrial by-products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
